EASYTECH SASU ("we", "us", "Mapable") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

2. Data we collect

When you use Mapable, we collect and store: • Account information: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (via Google sign-in). • Content you create: notes, journal entries, voice memos, uploaded files, and URLs you submit, which you type, dictate or add in the app. This content is stored in our databases and used solely to provide the service to you. • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and interaction patterns, collected via PostHog analytics to help us improve the product. • Calendar (optional): if you allow access, the iOS app reads today's events on your phone to show them next to your todos, and adds events you approve. Your calendar is read on the device and is never sent to our servers.

3. How we use your data

We use your data exclusively to: • Provide and operate the Mapable service (storing your knowledge, building your graph, answering your queries). • Improve the product based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns. • Communicate with you about your account or service changes. We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models.

4. Third-party services

To provide Mapable's features, your data may be processed by the following third-party services: • Google Cloud Platform (Firebase Authentication): handles sign-in and identity verification. Google receives your email and authentication tokens. • Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini): processes your content to extract metadata, generate tags, and answer your questions. The text of your notes, journal entries, check-ins and questions, and the photos and link content you add, are sent to Google's API. Google does not use them to train its models (per its API data usage terms). • ElevenLabs: processes voice memos for transcription. The audio of your voice recordings is sent to their API for speech-to-text conversion. • PostHog: collects anonymized usage analytics to help us understand how the product is used. • Apple and RevenueCat: process subscription purchases. Payment is handled by Apple; RevenueCat receives your purchase status and an app user identifier to unlock Mapable Pro. We never see your payment details. AI services and your permission. The data above is sent to Google and ElevenLabs only to provide the feature you are using (sorting and tagging your notes, answering your questions, transcribing your voice). It is sent from our servers, not from your phone. Before anything is sent, the Mapable app tells you what is sent and to whom, and asks for your permission. If you do not agree, nothing is sent. We only work with providers that give your data the same or equal protection as this policy. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

5. Data hosting and transfers

Your data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the United States (us-central1 region). For users in the European Union, this constitutes an international data transfer. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which provides adequate safeguards for the transfer of personal data from the EU to the US, as recognized by the European Commission.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: • Access your personal data. • Rectify inaccurate data. • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"). • Export your data in a portable format. • Object to or restrict certain processing. 8. Cookies

Mapable uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for analytics, which may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to Mapable. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. If you delete your account, this license terminates and your content is deleted.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
