Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mapable, operated by EASYTECH SASU. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. About the service

Mapable is a personal knowledge management tool that lets you capture, organize, and explore your thoughts, notes, and ideas. The service uses artificial intelligence to help structure and connect your content.

2. Account

To use Mapable, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or submit to Mapable. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By using the service, you grant EASYTECH SASU a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service on your behalf. This license terminates when you delete your content or your account. You are responsible for the content you submit. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or contains malware.

4. AI processing

Mapable uses artificial intelligence (Google Vertex AI / Gemini) to process your content — extracting metadata, generating tags, creating connections, and answering your questions. Your content is sent to these AI services as needed to provide the functionality. We do not use your content to train AI models. Google's Vertex AI API terms also prohibit use of API data for model training.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: • Use the service for any illegal purpose. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems. • Interfere with or disrupt the service. • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service. • Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep Mapable available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. In the event of a full service shutdown, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

7. Pricing

Mapable currently offers a free tier. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, existing free features at the time of your registration will remain available to you, or we will give reasonable notice of any changes.

8. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at contact@easytech-agency.net. Upon deletion: • Your personal data and content will be permanently deleted within 30 days. • This action is irreversible. • Data may be retained longer only where required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EASYTECH SASU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €100 if you are on a free plan).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Annecy, France.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
